Jah-Mel Bruce Named All-American
April 09, 2026Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s basketball player Jah-Mel Bruce has been selected a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American. He is the fifth player to earn All-American honors in the history of the Panthers men’s basketball team following Javonte Long (2025), Khai Pugh (2024), Tyseem Lyles (2014), and Jude Princivil (1995). -
Bruce Named First-Team All-Region
March 02, 2026Jah-Mel Bruce has added another postseason honor. The freshman has been voted First Team All-Region 3, marking just the ninth time in program history that a Panther has been voted as one of the most elite players in the region. -
Panthers Fall in Region 3 Quarterfinals
February 27, 2026The Panthers men’s basketball season came to a close Friday with a loss in the quarterfinal round of the NJCAA Region 3 men’s basketball playoffs. TC3, the #7 seed, lost to #2 Genesee Community College 88-71. TC3’s season ends with a record of 13-10. Genesee advances to the semifinal round on Saturday. -
Bruce MSAC Player of the Year; Brown and Summer All-MSAC
February 26, 2026For the third year in a row, a member of the TC3 men’s basketball team has been voted as the Mid-State Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Jah-Mel Bruce was picked as the top player in voting by coaches in the eight-team league. He was joined on the all-conference team by Malachi Brown and Kashif Summer, Jr., marking the third straight year that three Panthers have been voted all-conference, and the fourth time in program history. Izeir Mayben received Honorable Mention. -

Panthers Close Regular Season with Win Over Cayuga
February 21, 2026The Panthers closed out the regular season with an 80-73 home win over Cayuga Community College on Saturday. TC3 finished the regular season with a record of 13-9 overall and 9-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, good for third place in the MSAC. Cayuga dropped to 6-18 overall and 5-9 in the MSAC. -

February 18, 2026A second-half rally came up just short on Wednesday as the Panthers lost at home to Genesee Community College, 92-88. TC3 drops to 12-9 overall and 8-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, while Genesee improves to 19-7 overall and 9-2 in the MSAC. -

Panthers Return to Action Hosting #9-Ranked D-II Monroe
January 08, 2026Returning to action after the long break between semesters, the Panthers hosted one of the top Division II teams in the country. Monroe Community College, ranked #9 in the latest national D-II poll, came to Dryden for a tune-up before each starts divisional play. The result was a convincing win for the visitors, as Monroe raced away with a 111-69 win to improve to 16-3 overall. TC3 is now 3-5 overall. -
Panthers Nearly Upset Nation's #1 Team
December 07, 2025The Panthers closed out the fall semester portion of their schedule by hosting the top-ranked team in the nation on Sunday. Mohawk Valley came to Dryden as the defending national champions with a perfect 6-0 record, and the Panthers very nearly pulled off the upset, leading in the final minute before falling 73-71. TC3 is now 3-4 while Mohawk Valley improves to 7-0. -
Win Streak Snapped at Three Games for TC3 Men
December 06, 2025The Panthers men’s basketball winning streak ended at three games with a home loss on Saturday to Herkimer College. The 62-50 defeat leaves TC3 with an overall record of 3-3. Herkimer improves to 4-1. -

December 03, 2025The TC3 men’s basketball team made it three in a row with a 79-67 win at Jefferson Community College Wednesday. The Panthers are 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is now 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the MSAC. -
Panthers top Hudson Valley for First WIn
November 15, 2025After opening the season with two overtime losses, the TC3 men’s basketball team was able to pick up its first win in a more relaxed fashion, beating Hudson Valley Community College 87-62. The home win on Saturday improves TC3 to 1-2 on the season; Hudson Valley drops to 0-5. -
Panthers Drop Second Straight in OT
November 12, 2025For the second time in two games, the TC3 men’s basketball team went to overtime on the road, ultimately coming up just short. On Wednesday the Panthers lost to Onondaga Community College 99-92 after playing one extra period. The Panthers are now 0-2 on the season. -
Panthers Go to Triple OT in Season-Opening Loss to Cougars
November 08, 2025Over the past seasons, TC3 and Genesee have been the top teams in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Genesee won the regular season title in 2023-24 with the Panthers winning the conference tournament. Last year the two teams tied for the conference title. So, when the schedule came out and had the two teams squaring off to open the 2025-26 season, it promised to be a memorable game. The reality didn’t disappoint on Saturday in Batavia as the two teams played three overtimes before the Cougars could claim a 93-91 win over the Panthers. -
Wilk Named Head Coach at Keuka College; Macklin To Lead TC3
July 24, 2025One of the most successful coaches in Tompkins Cortland Community College basketball history is leaving the program to become a head coach on the NCAA level. Tom Wilk is stepping down after four seasons at TC3 and moving on to Keuka College. He leaves TC3 with the best winning percentage of any head coach in the program history, having led the Panthers to two Mid-State Athletic Conference championships and back-to-back Region 3 Final Four appearances. Tariq Macklin, a former player at TC3 who served as an assistant coach in 2024-25, has been named the Interim Head Coach for the Panthers.
