Hosting #11-ranked North Country Community College on Saturday, the Panthers led most of the way before falling 71-64. TC3 is now 8-7 overall while North Country improves to 16-2.
The game was back and forth in the first half, with the Panthers up by as much as eight points before heading to the half ahead 32-30. The Saints came back to tie the game at 44-44 midway through the second half, but the visitors didn't take the lead until scoring seven straight to lead 56-51 with six minutes left. A rally by the Panthers brought it to within one point at 63-62, but the home team couldn't complete the late comeback as the Saints sealed the win in the final minute.
Malachi Brown led all scorers with 21 points. Kashif Summers, Jr. had a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds and Jah-Mel Bruce finished with 12 points.
