Balanced Panthers Roll Past Corning

Four players in double figures paced the Panthers to a solid 91-75 win at Corning Community College on Wednesday. TC3 is now 10-8 overall and 6-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, while Corning drops to 4-16 overall and 1-9 in the MSAC.

After the teams traded the lead in the opening few possessions, the Panthers used a 9-0 run to take the lead for good at 14-7. The lead was never threatened in the second half, growing to 23 points late before settling at the final 16-point victory for the visitors.

Jah-Mel Bruce led the quartet in double figures with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. Izeir Mayben had 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Malachi Brown had 12 points, 7 boards, and 2 blocks, and Reggie Roberson added 12 points.

The Panthers are home against Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday.
