Playing for the first time in a month, the Panthers women's basketball team dropped a home game to SUNY Broome on Sunday, 65-51. Both TC3 and Broome now have records of 2-6 overall on the season.

Things started slowly for the Panthers, with Broome jumping to a 20-10 lead after one quarter. The Panthers were able inch back in the second quarter and got to within five points in the third quarter, but Broome closed out the win with a 21-15 advantage in the final period.

Kyla Mustapha led all players in scoring and rebounds, posting another double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Michaela Jean-Philippe just missed her own double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Rylan Robicheaux chipped in with 6 points, 6 steals, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Ndeye Seynabou Thiam added 6 points and Cortney Scutt had 2.

The Panthers are home again on Wednesday, hosting #8-ranked Jefferson Community College.
