Lax Season Ends with Home Loss

TC3 lacrosse team huddled together

The Panthers lacrosse season came to an end on Wednesday with a home loss to Jefferson Community College. The 18-4 defeat concludes TC3's season with a record of 1-8. Jefferson improves to 5-4.

Jefferson scored the game's first 10 goals. A Joey Vrendenburgh goal with 50 seconds left in the second quarter broke the ice for the home team, and made the score 10-1 heading into halftime. A solid third quarter that featured another goal by Vrendenburgh and two from Thomas Kirnie cut into the deficit and made the score 11-4 heading into the fourth, but the Cannoneers put the game away with seven goals in the final quarter.

Goalie Cameron Cherry, who leads the nation in saves, had another big day with 28 saves.
