Postseason Honors for Panthers Lacrosse Players and Coach

Several members of the Tompkins Cortland Community College lacrosse team have earned post-season accolades. Five players have been selected to the NJCAA Region 3 all-region team and eight players have spots on the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference team. In addition, for the first time in program history, the Panthers have claimed the MSAC championship, the Player of the Year award, and the Coach of the Year honors.

Bringing home all-region honors for the Panthers are Josh Canaan (Tully/Tully H.S.), Chase Kiner (Homer/Homer H.S.), Skylar Running Rabbit (Siksika Nation/Strathmore H.S.), Declan Fullerton (Westchester/Walter Panas H.S.), and Ethan Hicks (Dryden/Dryden H.S.)

The MSAC Player of the Year award was given to Running-Rabbit. The face-off specialist won an amazing 77.1% of face offs in conference play. Zach McMullin was named the conference coach of the year, the first in his eight seasons as head coach.

In addition to Running-Rabbit, Canaan, Kiner, and Fullerton also earned placed on the all-conference team. They were joined by Ryan Pritchard (Montrose/Hendrick Hudson H.S.), Zach Mallory (Homer/Homer H.S.), Alan Porter-Jackson (Buchanan/Hendrick Hudson H.S.), and Julian Mangino (Ithaca/Ithaca H.S.)
