The Panthers dropped their final Mid-State Athletic Conference games of the season, losing to Jefferson Community College on Thursday. TC3 is now 4-33 overall and 3-18 in the MSAC.

Game One: Jefferson 9, Tompkins Cortland 5

The game was tied at 3-3 midway through the fourth inning, but Jefferson put up six runs over their next three innings to pull away. Easton Podbeusek and Aiden Huften each had two hits, including a homer for Hufton.

Game Two: Jefferson 15, Tompkins Cortland 10

Errors proved costly in game two, as the Panthers committed seven miscues that led to seven unearned runs. Dominic Zona was the lone Panther with multiple hits, going 2-for-3.

Looking ahead

The Panthers play at Erie Community College on Saturday before ending the season at home on Sunday against the same Kats.
