Leading in the last inning of game one, the Panthers couldn't hold on and ended up losing both ends of the doubleheader with Jamestown Community College on Tuesday. TC3 drops to 4-31 overall and 1-22 in the West Division. Jamestown is 16-19 overall and 10-12 in the division.
Game One: Jamestown 6, Tompkins Cortland 5
The Panthers led most of the game, including 5-2 after four innings. Jamestown chipped away with a run in the five and another in the sixth, but the Panthers went to the seventh inning needing just three outs to secure the win. A walk and a two-out error allowed the tying run to score, and after another walk, a single pushed across the go ahead run for the Jayhawks. TC3 went down in order in the bottom of the seventh, handing the Panthers another heartbreaking loss.
TC3 outhit Jamestown10-to-6, led by two hits each from Easton Podbeusek, Keelan Marren, and Parker Seeley. Starting pitcher Jose Ramos, Jr. pitched a solid five innings, leaving game with a 5-4 lead, but the bullpen couldn't make him a winner.
Game Two: Jamestown 14, Tompkins Cortland 10
The Panthers again outhit their guests in game two, raking 14 hits. The first two innings produced a combined 16 runs, and after TC3 added another two in the bottom of the third, the teams were tied at 9-9. Jamestown put four on the board over the next two innings, providing the cushion for the visitors to claim the final matchup of the season between the two teams.
Six different Panthers had two hits, with Jack Pilgrim setting the pace with a double and two RBI. Parker Seeley, Dominic Zona, Easton Podbeusek, Keelan Marren, and Tim Leary also had a pair hits for the home team.

The Panthers have a Mid-State Athletic Conference doubleheader at Jefferson Community College on Thursday.
