A strong start in game one went to waste as the Panthers dropped a pair of games at Onondaga Community College on Wednesday. The losses leave TC3 with a record of 2-17 overall, with eight of the losses coming to teams ranked in top 15 in the nation. Niagara is now 29-3.
Game One: Niagara 11, Tompkins Cortland 2
Taking on one of the best teams in the nation, the Panthers were even with Niagara at 1-1 midway through the third inning. The Thunderwolves began to pull away with two runs in the bottom of the third, and then gradually extended the margin each inning until the game ended in the seventh.
The Panthers managed just four hits – all singles. Evan Shank had a hit and drove in a run to lead the way. Starting pitcher Liam Gordon was battled through five innings, allowing seven earned runs.
Game Two: Niagara 14, Tompkins Cortland 4 (five innings)
The Thunderwolves scored in each inning, jumping ahead 11-0 after three innings and cruising to the five-inning win. Aiden Huften and Easton Podbuesek each two hits to lead TC3's six-hit offense.

The Panthers are home on Saturday, hosting Genesee Community College in Dryden.
